Dr. Hernández obtained a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2004, after which she completed a three-year internship in the equine area of the UCM Veterinary Teaching Hospital. At the same time she completed the degree in human Physiotherapy at the URJC with more than 400h of practice in hospitals and physiotherapy clinics.
She has always worked with highly prestigious veterinarians such as Jaime Goyoaga and Jose Manuel Romero, with whom she continues to collaborate to this day, obtaining extensive experience in sports medicine and in international competitions.
During these years she obtained a Diploma in IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) and training in structural osteopathy in animals, reaching the Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2016 with a thesis on electrotherapy in the horse. Currently working to obtain the certification of American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.
She teaches in the courses of Expert in Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy of the UCM and also she is Coordinator of the Equine Veterinary Physiotherapy Group of the spanish Veterinary Association of Equine Specialists.
